Traps are Kieran Day on vocals and guitar, Ben Hassell on lead guitar, vocals and keys, Matt Edge on Bass and Mal Page on Drums.

Traps found each other lost at sea.

Specifically that sea full of those working minimum wage jobs.

One day, per chance, they all washed up at the same place of employment and, after many hours of Scrabulous, somehow, fortuitously, a band was formed.
Locating their sound can be an arduous task, but it can be said the sound of Traps lies in a place where a mid-heavy jangle of guitars, starkness, an obsession for pedals, courteously-clashing vocals and driven rhythms work side by side.
Traps seek to constantly challenge their own musical histories, striving for newer output, inventiveness and the general deterioration of pop.
Although their formation and development has so far been rapid, each member of Traps is experienced both musically and in performance, so it was not unexpected that their initial demo received such high regard and recognition.
